Seneca Global Services is seeking a Modeling and Simulations Integration/Interoperability Engineer ready to support a dynamic, cutting-edge DoD acquisition program. The Modeling and Simulations Integration/Interoperability Engineer will be the CSS subject matter expert of the systems-of-systems integration efforts for the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) effort. The ideal candidate for this role must be comfortable working in a transparent, collaborative team environment and possess outstanding communication, organization, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Assist in requirements, development, and systems integration tracking across various simulation vendors, Government, and external stakeholders (CAC-T, etc)
  • Support and conduct technical planning, analysis, and execution across vendors to meet/achieve timelines
  • Support of JLCCTC warfighter exercises and technical diagnosis onsite and remote
  • Provide systems-of-systems integration efforts for the JLCCTC effort
  • Provide other mission support as required by the PM and the program office
  • Coordinate interoperability with other Service/Joint community and Mission Critical (MC) systems.
  • Enable BDE (Brigade) to Theater-level exercises.
  • Travel to JLCCTC Sites to provide onsite Exercise Support/debugging as needed.
  • Lead activities associated with requirement elicitation, concept development, system design, and development prioritization.
  • Manage system requirements for developmental versions of the system (derived requirements, developmental tasks, components involved, development schedule, implementation/integration status).
  • Oversee the efforts of a team of engineers responsible for numerous functional lanes of activity.
  • Plan and lead System of System integration events to ensure progress of system development objectives.
  • Ensure key stakeholders are informed of progress throughout the integration and testing of new software releases.
  • Support Documentation of system architectures, simulation interchanges, system stakeholder agreements,
  • Track configuration of system components, interoperable partners components/systems, system problem reports (SPRs).

Qualification Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain an SCI
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as M&S System Engineer.
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Simulation and training, Computer Science, System Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience with DOD Mission Command Systems
  • Expertise on Modeling & Simulation standards, protocols, and interfaces (DIS (Distributed Interactive Simulations), HLA (High Level Architecture), TENA (Test and Training Enabling Architecture), SISO (Simulation Interoperability Standards Organization), etc)
  • Experience with Model Driven Architectures
  • Ability to adapt technical planning into incremental sound development timelines.
  • Experience in Constructive Simulation Training
