Description

Background – The DoD HIV/AIDS Prevention Program (DHAPP) is responsible for the Department of Defense’s program to reduce HIV/AIDS in Foreign Militaries. In support of this Program it is requested that the contractor identify a Program Analyst. Specifically, the need is for project support to help DOD achieve their goal of reducing the transmission of STIs and HIV in foreign militaries.

The Editor will provide support services to all members of the DHA DHAPP team in writing and preparation of scientific writing support to include helping with the development of documents that describe current efforts, past performance, capabilities, and materials that articulate concepts for new efforts. 


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Consult on document formatting for publication.
  • Edit documents and recommend changes for product improvement.
  • Maintain editing guidelines and product lists.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English or related field.
  • Experience editing medical articles for publication helpful.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Navy Correspondence Manual desired.
