Description
Seneca Global Services is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to our program and project managers on the deployment of the MHS Genesis electronic health record (EHR) software to military treatment facilities. The Project Controls Specialist will report to the Program Manager in the PMO located in Falls Church, VA.


Responsibilities will include:
  • Supports the Program Manager on and coordinates with Project Managers with analytical, problem solving and decision making procedures
  • Assists with work breakdown structure and prepares diagrams, graphs and charts
  • Maintains management plans as per contract guidelines
  • Coordinates and compiles input from team members and various weekly reports
  • Assists Program Manager with tasks to improve project operational efficiency
  • Assists in monitoring project execution to achieve maximum effectiveness
  • Generates reports based on status and progress
  • Applies knowledge across key tasks as related to systems deployment
  • Assists in planning major technology assignments
  • Coordinates with leadership as they evaluate performance results and recommend changes affecting short-term project growth and success
  • Functions as a technical support across multiple project assignments


Minimum Qualifications (Education and Skills):
* BA/BS in business, management, health care, information technology, or related field
* At least 1 year experience working in a Department of Defense environment
* Knowledge of Defense Health Agency
* Strong background in information technology
* Excellent communication skills
* Must be able to efficiently multi-task and delegate tasks as needed
