The JRIP Infrastructure Manager will assist the JRIP Resources Branch in coordinating the procurement and maintenance of critical 24x7 infrastructure services and systems required to enable RCIE at the JRICs to effectively support CCMD, CSA and SIC missions. The Infrastructure Manager will also support Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and related Intelligence operations and infrastructure services for the contract. The Infrastructure Manager will assist the JRIP PMO in developing studies, briefings, cost/benefit analyses and other technical documentation needed to gain key DoD agency support for critical infrastructure. The Infrastructure Manager will coordinate with DS components to ensure the design, installation and maintenance support provided JRIP sites adequately sustains 24x7 operations. The Infrastructure Manager will assist DS in defining infrastructure design and upgrades that support the transportation of information and associated signaling between JRIP communications/information monitoring systems. The Infrastructure Manager will assist DS, JRIP and Service Reserve Intelligence staffs in designing facility infrastructure upgrades for existing and new sites and will support PMO in determining the suitability of potential JRIP sites and in estimating the resources required to bring them to full operational capability.
In addition, The Infrastructure Manager will:
1) Submit documented site visit after action reports,
2) Submit weekly update slides to the JRIP-PM providing status of ongoing projects,
3) Develop and procure new infrastructure projects to include: i. detailed watch floor plans, SOWs and BOMs, ii. furniture and A-V layouts, iii. power distribution requirements, iv. network infrastructure distribution, v. outside plant fiber distribution,
4) Attend weekly coordination meetings with the DS IT Account Manager to provide status updates of ongoing projects regarding DS vested interests,
5) Attend bi-weekly Configuration Management Review Board (CMRB) to present JRIP-PMO customer mission requirements to DS.
