Our company is searching for an experienced IT Manager who can manage and resolve employee and organizational IT issues and maintain our cloud-based suite of applications/tools. The ideal candidate will be able to manage our computer platforms, while looking for ways to support our growing number of users to meet future needs. The IT Manager will be responsible for developing maintenance and growth plans, creating annual and project budgets, handling IT help desk tickets and keeping the executive team up to date on the latest networking technologies that could help the company to succeed.  This position will be based out of Chantilly, VA but will also support our other offices.

Infrastructure Duties:
  • Actively update, maintain and monitor all aspects of cloud-based applications (e.g., O365)
  • Run regular checks on network and data security
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
  • Develop and implement IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
  • Design training programs and workshops for staff
  • Resolve technical issues related to network interruptions
  • Conduct regular system audits
  • Oversee and determine timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
  • Manage and report on allocation of IT budget

Help Desk Duties:
  • Responsible for answering incoming technical support requests via email or phone in a timely, courteous and professional manner for hardware such as laptops, desktops, phones, printers, audio/visual, other peripherals, and software, including Windows, O365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and various software applications
  • Identify trends and looking for efficiencies to resolve common issues
  • Establish best practices through the entire help desk support process
  • Create training and/or How-to materials

Hardware and Software Duties:
  • Manage and maintain computer hardware and software systems

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor' Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in information technology management
  • Software development abilities preferred
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills required
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of CMMC requirements
  • Strong SharePoint and Office 365 admin skills

Desired Certification:
  • Microsoft O365 administrator
