Western Door Federal is looking to hire a Junior Financial Analyst (Accounts Receivables) to support our government client in San Antonio, Texas.


This is a Department of Defense contract and will follow the DoD’s protocol regarding vaccinations and/or testing.


The Junior Financial Analyst (Accounts Receivable) operates in a support capacity with the DHA DCFM Accounts Receivable team.

 

Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
 

  • Provide support by monitoring and reviewing open deposits, 3210 corrections, and reimbursable receivables in the accounting system across all MTFs
  • Facilitate the team with researching open receivables greater than 30 days and assist the MTFs with resolution and input into Automated Disbursing System (ADS) upon request
  • Provide reoccurring reports to document progress being made to resolve assigned responsibilities

     

Qualification Requirements:
 

  • Prior training/experience with GFEBS (Preferred) or DEAMS
  • Knowledge of MHS policy and regulations governing Public Receivables, Reimbursables, and the accounting systems (GFEBS & DEAMS) and related systems (ABACUS, ADS, IPAC, DCAS, etc.) being utilized by the MTFs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and skilled in oral and written communications.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience processing Accounts Receivable transactions
