Job Description:

Seneca Global Services is looking to hire an experienced Senior Scientist to provide essential technical advice to top-level USG officials. The successful candidate must be capable of defining software code that bridges sensitive technologies together and work closely with USG Science and Technology committees, vendors, and the customer to ensure developing solutions address our evolving performance and efficiency requirements. Work must be mission-focused and incorporate both existing infrastructure and new system technologies strategies. The Senior Scientist will have a deep system engineering understanding and excel in data sciences. The data exchange will be owned by the government, allowing the governing to benefit from recurring cost and expired licensing. 
 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging developing or latest technologies.
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
  • Define data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
  • Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize intended outcomes. 
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy. 

 

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance  
  • Bachelor's degree required (engineering)
  • 20+ years of  experience in the fields of tactical datalink, air defense and remote systems engineering

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters/PhD preferred
